If you're in charge of booking an entertainment venue, make sure that you take the intended audience into account as well as the location and price. Your guests' kids might think the local water park is a blast, but your older guests might not be amused.

If you can, match your entertainers to your entertainment venue. If your space is cramped, a strolling magician might be a better choice than a rock band, which requires a stage. On the other hand, if you have plenty of space, dancing is a great idea.

It's hard to go wrong with ballroom dancing. If you're hosting a big event, you could do worse than to rent a large entertainment facility with a dance floor or two, and the appropriate big band, singers, and other entertainers to go with them.
