Don't just go with the first tattoo parlor you come to, or the cheapest you can find. If it's cheap, there's a reason for that. You need to consider everything -- artistry, cleanliness, professionalism, reputation, and more -- as well as the actual cost.

When considering getting a tattoo, you don't necessarily have to jump into it right away. Be prepared to visit your chosen tattoo parlor two or three times as necessary before starting the inking, particularly if you're considering a large tattoo.
